President and CEO
Kirk is an innovative and creative leader who never tires and is never satisfied with the status quo. Kirk’s three priorities are: build a great culture, help Credit Unions beat banks, and deliver amazing technology experiences.
When he was just sixteen, Kirk started a high school bank in a small town in Southern Oregon. After moving to Washington, DC to attend college, Kirk began his Credit Union career and went on to work at Agriculture FCU, Fiserv, and NIH Federal Credit union. Kirk started CUCTO, a networking group for Credit Union technology management, during his tenure at NIH Federal Credit Union. In 2007, Kirk left NIH FCU to found, grow and lead Ongoing Operations, LLC. During that time, Kirk oversaw the acquisition of CU Recover, Teneros and Cloudworks. Kirk teamed up with Paul Fiore in 2011 to launch CU Wallet and most recently has finished writing a book “CU2.0 – a guide for Credit Unions to compete in the digital age.”
Kirk currently lives in Ashland, Oregon with his wife, 3 kids and fierce Chihuahua, Mojo. He enjoys making wine, hiking, and traveling the world. In fact, has traveled to 5 continents to taste wine.
