An Oregon native, Robbie was born and raised in Portland. He attended Portland State University and Western Oregon University and received a B.S. in Business Management and Finance and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Robbie also is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). His Credit Union career started right out of college, where he was the Sales and Service Manager for Maps Credit Union, eventually moving to a General Manager role in one of the CU’s CUSO’s. Locally, Robbie is involved in numerous volunteer activities, including his City’s Economic Development Committee and is a board member for the local Chamber of Commerce.
Robbie started with Ongoing Operations in 2010 as a Project Manager. He quickly moved into the Director of Implementations role which oversaw all new customer implementations as well as OGO’s senior level 3 technical support. In 2013, Robbie oversaw all client facing support, overseeing Level 1 and Level 2 technical support as the Director of Client Services. Finally in 2016, he transitioned to the role of Senior vCIO to provide technical expertise and consulting to current and prospective OGO clients.
Aside from coaching his sons’ soccer teams, he and his wife enjoy many of the outdoor activities that the Oregon coast affords in residents, including backpacking, hiking, hunting, fishing, and the occasional triathlon. As work and personal life can overlap on occasion, Robbie also volunteers with his local CERT group to assist in providing emergency response to the local community when needed and is a member of the local ARES group, a HAM radio organization responsible for facilitating communication during a disaster.
