If you are a google mail or e-mail user other than Microsoft – this post is probably not for you. If you, are a power e-mail user, busy executive, or thinking about outsourcing your e-mail this post is for you.

One of the big advantages to being a secure community cloud provider is that your clients regularly submit ideas and feedback about how to improve your solutions. This year has been no different and with thousands of people using Ongoing Operations hosted exchange we have heard of some good ones. Sanebox, Doodle, Contactually and the OGO Collaboration Suite all improve worker productivity and usefulness of your e-mail.

Sanebox

If you only read the OGO blog –than this won’t be an issue for you. If however you get lots of content and news delivered right to your e-mail box – you may be going nuts with the volume. Sanebox will learn how you sort your mail and do it forward. It is a great tool for helping slim down your active e-mail items and cut through the noise so you can focus on key contacts and issues. We have found the guys and support at Sanebox to be lousy to deal with – but the product seems to be solid and we have several customers that are happy with it.

Contactually

This tool is a great tool for busy executives or top networkers. Once configured – you can bucket contacts each week playing a fun little bucket game. Each bucket is created with different rules. Than based on the rules, contractually will send you an update regularly reminding you to follow-up with various contacts or clients. You no longer need to remember the last time you checked in on a client- instead the system remembers for you. This product is still in beta mode so sometimes it is a little buggy – even so we have many users that have found it to be a big help.

Cisco IronPort

Already built into the OGO Hosted e-mail offering – Cisco IronPort keeps your spam to a minimal level. It doesn’t catch everything but it is pretty good at keeping all the random weightloss and Nigerian money laundering e-mails at bay so you won’t be tempted to suddenly get in shape or earn some money on the side.

Doodle

Are you sick of trading e-mails or trying to find a time to meet with a large group. Doodle is a great tool to simplify this process. Just fill out your schedule – e-mail to everyone else (who add their availability) and you can quickly easily see a good time that works for everyone.

OGO Collaboration Suite

If you want chat, video conferencing, screen shares, and all of your phones to work as one – the OGO Collaboration Suite combines all of these technologies with one killer integration making it easy to work from anyplace, anytime, and anywhere.
