What Does my Office Need for Hosted Virtual Desktop?

Hosted Virtual Desktop Applications

Hosted Virtual Desktop Office Requirements

If you are seriously considering moving to Hosted Virtual Desktops and wondering what you will need in your local office – this post is for you.  Last time we covered Hosted Virtual Desktop Installation.  We have talked extensively in our Hosted Virtual Desktop Blog Series about how moving your applications and workstations into the Cloud, and using Hosted Virtual Desktop to access them will allow your organization to operate without IT hardware. While it is true that you will no longer have to maintain servers or deal with updating, securing, or patching them or their software, you will still have to maintain your connection to the internet and OGO. You will also have to have your internal network connections between your workstations, printers, scanners, and other office peripherals.

Each of these different connections is worth an in depth discussion of what will be in your office, what we will manage remotely, what you will have to keep an eye on, and how each system will function within the overall environment.
